Queens Of The Stone Age + Eagles of Death Metal Announce Benefit Gig

Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Brian O'Connor, recently diagnosed with cancer, is currently going through treatment in Los Angeles. As we reported last month, he doesn't have health insurance, so members of Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures and Rage Against The Machine have all organized benefit shows to help pay for his treatment.

Today, Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal have confirmed a benefit appearance at Los Angeles' Club Nokia for Thursday, Aug.12. Net proceeds from the show will be contributed to a fund which has been established in conjunction with the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, to assist with Brian's medical aid and vital living expenses.

Tickets, ranging from $50 to $250, will be available on Friday, July 16, 10 a.m. They're also available online at Ticketmaster outlets. To make a donation to the Brian O'Connor fund, please visit: http://www.brianeodm.org.
