Pussy Riot's Heading to the U.S., Represent

Pussy Riot is heading to the U.S.! Members Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, who were freed on December 23 after serving 21 months in a Russian jail for hooliganism, will appear at a concert organized by Amnesty International. The pair will be campaigning for better prison conditions and plans to visit prisons in Paris, Amsterdam and New York City, among other cities.

The Amnesty International concert will be held in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Feb. 5. The lineup includes The Flaming Lips, Imagine Dragons, and Lauryn Hill. More info about the concert can be found here: http://www.amnestyusa.org/Feb5concert
