- Say goodbye to Huntington Beach's Moostache. Well, kind of. The Wardell Brothers (plus Scott Zschomler) announced that they are going a new direction with their music and have picked up a new moniker–Wardells. [From their Facebook page]
- Long Beach's The Growlers opened for the Black Keys at two sold-out shows at the Palladium Monday and Tuesday. We found a bunch of reviews talking about the Black Keys, and Nicole Atkins, but nothing on the Growlers. Well, at least they weren't panned as badly as Nicole Atkins was. [LA Weekly]
