So here's one reason for your broke ass to feel better about your staycation this year (again)–a season full of free concerts in the park! Several parks, actually. KROQ's annual ROQ N' Surf summer series is offering 10 free shows from Fullerton to Dana Point from June 26 through August 28 at some of the finest outdoor areas in OC. From impeccable cover bands to disheveled indie darlings, this concert series has all kinds of styles that go well with sandals and and a hackey sack. A couple highlights: Go Go 13 playing Irvine Regional Park on July 31, Gardens & Villa playing Mile Square Park on August 7 and Matt Costa rounding things out on August 28 at Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach.
