OC Music and Horror Art Fest for a Cause

What if OC was taken over by vampires, zombies and other monstrous figures? We aren't having a zombie apocalypse any time soon (we think), but we are having some bands rock out this Saturday at Catalyst in Westminster with a horror-inspired art exhibit titled “Something Was Wrong in Orange County. . .” Franki Doll & the Broken Toys, Moonshine & the Drugs, and Drums and Color will be performing during the event, while gruesome artwork will be displayed throughout the gallery. Among the participating artists in the show are Weekly production manager Steve Cox and senior graphic designer Jay Brockman.

Of all the bands, it's perhaps most fitting that Franki Doll & the Broken Toys will be onstage. They are known to be a generous group, and they continuously support various charities. At this event, a suggested $5 donation benefits the nonprofit Eli Home Organization. The charity shelters victims of child abuse and helps them cope with their unfortunate situations. Join the OC Weekly staff and participate in the music and arts of Orange County. You can even show up dressed to kill.
