New Odd Future TV Show Coming to Adult Swim

There's a fine line between overexposure and striking when the iron is hot. Apparently, we are all about to find out where that line is for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All as the LA rap  collective and television network Adult Swim announced today that a show entitled Loiter Squad is set to begin airing in 2012.

The program is described as a “15 minute live-action show that features sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All” and will be produced by Dickhouse Entertainment, the people who brought us Jackass and all those other MTV shows that try really hard to be Jackass but aren't.

This is a no-brainer for the folks in Odd Future, but has Adult
Swim thought about the fact that in today's world — where a mis-Tweet
here or a crazy Facebook rant there — can mean we won't give a shit
about Odd Future in a year? My advice — get this show on the air.
Pronto. Then again, I'm a blogger, not a TV executive, so maybe my
advice is not to take my advice.

No word on what Adult Swim
plans to do with the other 15 minutes of that half-hour block, but if I
can make a suggestion: Since Odd Future has the words “Kill Them All” in
its complete name, how about a 15-minute montage of nothing but Cliff
Burton videos? That would rule.

Or more King of the Hill reruns. Seriously. I can't get enough Hank Hill.
