Local Natives Pimp Aushua to Pitchfork

Pitchfork handed Local Natives' debut an 8.4 last month, pretty much ensuring that the Mission Viejo quintet (well, officially, Los Angeles quintet, but we know the truth) a busy and buzzy 2010 that includes playing Coachella
Local Natives are now passing a little of that online-tastemaker love to their buddies in Santa Ana's Aushua.

Yesterday, the 'Fork ran a “guest list” from the Natives' Kelcey Ayer and Ryan Hahn, in which they list a few of their favorite things. Among Ayer's selections for the best song of the past year:

Aushua: “Limbo”. They're friends of ours from Orange County. You usually have friends in bands, and it's not always your most favorite music. But Aushua made this EP that is outstanding, and I really dug that song.
We're pretty sure this means Aushua has arrived. It'll be the Forkcast any day for 'em now!
