MTV News announced that Lil Wayne's most anticipated album, Tha Carter IV. has a new release date. Originally set to drop on May 16, Young Money is now releasing the album on June 21.

Mack Maine, Young Money's president and Lil Wayne's advisor says while the set could be
done by next week, Lil Wayne is “still perfecting a few things, he's a
perfectionist… changing a few lines… We also have a huge record that
wasn't done yet.”
According to Maine, the video for Wayne's collab with Rick Ross, “John (If I Die Today)”, which hit the internet
earlier this week, isn't the final product. Watch it below.
