MTV reports that Lady Gaga is going to perform at one of the Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band concerts taking place at the Orpheum Theater in LA on Oct. 1 and 2 to celebrate what would've been John Lennon's 70th birthday on Oct. 9.
Also on the bill? Yoko Ono, Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell, Carrie Fisher, Vincent Gallo, RZA, Harper
Simon, Tune-Yards, Yuka Honda, Haruomi Hosono, Cornelius & Sean
Lennon. Iggy Pop, Nels Cline and Mike Watt are performing on Oct. 1 only, while Gaga, Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore are performing on Oct. 2.

Lady Gaga, who angered Beatles fan a few months ago when Sean Lennon tweeted a photo of her playing John's white piano, performed “Imagine,” Lennon's signature song
of hope, at last October's Human Rights Campaign gathering in
Washington, D.C. (she changed the song's lyrics to refer to the 1998 murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard).
EMI is also
reissuing a giant box set of Lennon's solo albums on Oct. 5, along
with some previously unreleased home recordings.
