How 'Born This Way' Went All the Way to No. 1 Told in Lady Gaga Gifs

Lousy album cover aside, Lady Gaga's sophomore release Born This Way sold 1.1 million copies in its first week and is No. 1 on the Billboard charts, the biggest since 50 Cent's The Massacre.

Not that we weren't anxiously anticipating it like Lady Gaga in this pic:

But we all knew it was going to happen. The only question was how strong of a showing was it going to be? (After all, there's a reason everyone says Lady Gaga is going to revive the music industry, giving it a much needed hump:)

What with her album selling for 99-cents on Amazon, designing camera shades of the future and being the next Oprah. According to the New York Times, “it outsold the next 42 albums on Billboard's chart combined–a
testimony to Lady Gaga's appeal and the hard work of her business team,
which devised one of the most extensive and savvy marketing campaigns
ever mounted in music.” Good job, money-making suits!

Born This Way became only the 17th album in the
SoundScan era (which began in 1991) to sell 1 million copies in its
first week. I bet Gaga is saying “Yessssssss” right now.

And though she's sold more than 15 million albums across the
globe to date, BTW marks the first No. 1 debut for the pop diva. MTV said sales of The Fame are up more than 50 percent to 19,000, sending the disc up 20 spots on the chart. Just one more reason to rejoice, Gaga!

That said, I just wanted an excuse to post the best Lady Gaga gifs on the web. Because 1) they cheer me up on bad days and 2) it's a great way to celebrate her accomplishment.
