Hit the Eastside of the LBC

Due out in March 2011 is Snoop Dogg’s 11th studio album, Doggumentary Music, titled as such because, as he said in a statement, “This is my life, and I want to share my music and my process of making it with the fans.”

With that, a map of Snoop Dogg’s Long Beach is apropos. As every song he has ever released seems to refer to the “Eastside of the LBC,” Snoop Dogg and his crew have elevated Long Beach to every hip-hop fan’s consciousness; if you’ve ever wondered where exactly 21 and Lewis was or what the borders of the Eastside were, you’re in luck.

This article and accompanying map appeared in print as “So Much Drama in the LBC: A map of Snoop Dogg’s Long Beach shows the rapper’s old stomping grounds.”
