Gwen Stefani Still Just a Girl, In Illustrated Form

We're stoked that O.C.'s own Gwen Stefani has been named a coach for the upcoming seventh season of NBC's The Voice.

Stefani will be replacing Christina Aguilera, who is taking maternity leave from judging the singing competition show. (According to the network, Aguilera will be back for Season 8). Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will return for Season 7, alongside another new coach, Pharrell Williams.

In the meantime, Stefani is spending time with her three-month old baby boy, Apollo, and sons Zuma (age 5) and Kingston (age 7). We're assuming, Stefani is accustom to being the lone woman in a band of men.

Despite selling close to 30 Million records worldwide as the front woman for the band No Doubt and as a multi-platinum solo artist, and producing a handful of successful fashion lines, Stefani says she didn't always have a lot of direction.

“I remember when I was in school, they would ask, 'What are you going to be when you grow up?' and then you'd have to draw a picture of it,” Steafni told SPIN. “I drew a picture of myself as a bride.”

That wish came true in 2002, when she married her now-husband of 12 years, Gavin Rossdale. Here's what else the girly powerhouse had to say about being a 'super-hot female'.
