'Glee' Star Matthew Morrison Collabs with 'NSync's JC Chasez on Upcoming Solo Album

Glee star/OC native Matthew Morrison just teamed up with boy band alum JC Chasez on  one of the tracks for his solo album.

Morrison (who plays glee club coach Will Schuester on the show) plans to drop his solo effort next year. "It's gonna be a little adult contemporary," he said.

Apparently, Morrison has written half the album so far. That song with JC Chasez, he says, "was very, very cool. It turned out really well. He's such a good songwriter."

The track is called "Dancing in the Rain." There are a few other collaborators on the album, but Morrison is being pretty secretive so far. He does share that "some people that you've probably heard of before, that you've definitely heard of before."

Glee

will be back on air Sept. 21, but Gleeks can see the cast presenting an award at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Morrison also said, "I'm hoping to perform at the VMAs next year!"

The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
