Gettin' Made: Yarn Lady Takes it Online
Have you ever been to the super-cool yarn paradise known as Yarn Lady? I've only had the opportunity to visit once, and it was amazing. Yarn, needles, embellishments, supplies, books as far as the eye could see. The only problem? I live in Long Beach, and Yarn Lady is in Laguna Hills - unfortunately, a little far to travel for yarny goodstuffs.
But never fear! Yarn Lady announced recently that they've finally got a webstore, and it looks to be just as extensive in their selection. After the jump, details on some of the great things you'll find in their new web shop, as well as a fun promotion that could land your knit or crocheted piece in the brick and mortar store's window this holiday season!
I love how the new web shop is organized! Not only can you browse through yarns sorted by brand, but you can also see what they have sorted by type of fiber and weight of yarn! The first page of the web shop says it is still under construction, which is apparent in the knitting needles and books sections, but there's so much good stuff to see, and I can't wait for them to get the entire kit and caboodle up there!
If you're close enough to the Yarn Lady store to pop in for a visit, be sure to do so before the end of July! Through the end of the month, the shop will have free knit and crochet patterns available so you can make some snowflakes for Christmas. I know, in the current warm temperatures snow is probably the last thing from your mind. But if you make a couple of these fiber snowflakes and bring them into the store before the end of the month, Yarn Lady will give you a 20% off coupon to use in August. They'll also hang your snowflakes as part of their holiday window display this December!
Yarn Lady is located at 23052 Lake Forest Drive in Laguna Hills, CA, 92653. For more information on the shop and to visit their brand new web store, visit www.yarnlady.com.
