Gettin' Made: New Flea Market Hits Dodger Stadium Saturday

UPDATE: Due to Saturday's heavy rain forcast, The inaugural Flea Market at Dodger Stadium has been postponed. Mark your calendar for December 18, when the next scheduled flea market will take place!

This Saturday a new flea market comes to Dodger Stadium!

The Flea Market at Dodger Stadium was created by Phillip Dane, the mastermind behind various farmers markets and events around Los Angeles. Through a new partnership with the Dodgers, flea market style events are returning to the Dodger Stadium parking lot.

After the jump, details about this Saturday's flea market.

Saturday's Flea Market at Dodger Stadium is the first instance of this monthly event that takes place from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. with early bird admission starting at 7 a.m. Ticket prices range from $5 general admission to $15 VIP admission, with free admission for children 12 and under. Parking is free, with preferred parking available for $10. And friendly dogs on leashes are welcome!

What will you find at the flea market? A slew of vintage and handcrafted items, food trucks galore, and live music from up and coming artists.

Another great thing going on at this Saturday's flea market is the Homeboy Industries' “Not Another Toy” gift drive. The drive will help anyone who has fallen on hard economic times in addition to previously gang-related and at-risk youth that Homeboy works with. Homeboy Industries asks flea market visitors to donate gift cards at the entrance in exchange for free Early Bird admission to the fair. You can help others while helping yourself get first crack at the good stuff.
