A constant in the world of indie crafting for the past five years, it always brightened my day when I saw Robert Mahar of Mahar Drygoods at shows. His bright, sunny and always friendly disposition was the perfect complement to the unique and nostalgic children's products offered in his online shop. I was truly saddened last week when I received the email newsletter announcing the upcoming closing of Robert's online emporium.

Mahar Drygoods is known for offering a wide variety of made-to-order items from various crafters, and will continue to accept orders for these items through the end of November as well. These items are clearly called out in the product descriptions, and take 2-3 weeks to ship.
