Free Ticket Tuesdays Wednesday: Dirty Projectors, Surfer Blood and … Wild Rivers?

Today, Facebook was down for a few minutes. Yesterday, a few other sites were on the mend, which is why Wednesday is (for this week only) the new Tuesday.

The good news is we're still giving away tickets! The Dirty Projectors are performing at Pomona's Glass House tomorrow, while Surfer Blood will be appearing live on Sept. 28 (also at the Glass House). We'll be giving away a pair of tickets to each show, and a copy of the new, expanded release of the Dirty Projectors' Bitte Orca to whoever doesn't win the tickets.

As a bonus, we're also giving away two pairs of tickets to the Wild Rivers water park with the DP/SB tickets…find out how after the jump.

Basically all you have to do is leave your real name and e-mail address in the comments–tell us which Dirty Projectors or Surfer Blood song would be a great soundtrack to a trip to Wild Rivers, and you get the tickets! Good luck!

Dirty Projectors

Why you should go: It's a sonic assault of the purest kind, and this show promises to show you how great contemporary music can be. The show is tomorrow at the Glass House, and if you don't win a ticket, we'll give you the new (old) CD!

Surfer Blood

Why you should go:  Despite the aggro name, Surfer Blood plays pure pop goodness (check out debut album Astro Coast earlier this year), and they're co-headlining the Sept. 28 show with the Drums!

  1. I recently tried CBD gummies from this website https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/products/cbda-oil after the prime time and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Initially skeptical, I initiate that it significantly helped with my desire and sleep issues without any notable side effects. The oil was serene to speak, with nitid dosage instructions. It had a merciful, lusty leaning that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a marked increase in my all-inclusive well-being, feeling more blas‚ and rested. I appreciate the ingenuous approach to wellness CBD offers and aim to go on using it.
