Flights Over Neverland Being Booked Now to Commemorate Michael Jackson's Death–Passengers Welcome to Drop Roses

We all know Santa Barbara is a beautiful city known for its immaculate beaches and spectacular rolling hills (not to mention a killer party scene), but our northern neighbors just got a little more awesomer thanks to a company called Channel Island Helicopters.

Now, for the low, low price of $175 per person (or the bargain rate of
$500 for a three-person private flight), on June 24 and 25 people just
like you and I can take a half-hour trip above Michael Jackson's
Neverland Ranch in Santa Ynez Valley
to commiserate the two-year
anniversary of the King of Pop's death.

Called “Flights Over Neverland,” TMZ is reporting that passengers are welcome to drop red roses
over Zaca Peak. Why? The gossip site didn't say, but I'm going to assume
it's to help boost the area's rose-growing economy.

Approximately
100 seats are already booked for hourly flights that begin at 9 a.m.
and go through sundown, so get moving people!

I totally would do this, but A. I don't like flying and B. I think I'm washing my hair those days. Instead, I'll just crank Thriller and
moonwalk across my living room floor. Of course, those actions have
nothing to do with the anniversary of MJ's death. That's just what I do
at night.
