Five Things to Looks Forward to at BlizzCon 2015

Can you feel it in the air? That.. power? Maybe it's the Khala or the Void. Or maybe Diablo is about to break a seal again. What I'm trying to say is — BlizzCon is coming back to town this weekend, and I'm pretty excited. It's one of Orange County's largest conventions, and it's my personal favorite because it reminds everyone just how cool being geeky is (it's really cool, and give OC a few more years and I bet it'll be really, really cool). There's plenty of reason for you to be excited about BlizzCon too. Here's why.

5. Linkin Park
Okay, stay with me here.

Linkin Park is the musical act closing this year's festival. During this year's festival, you'll be surrounded by thousands of people in full costume, face paint, playing the video games they started playing when they were in high school. Who was your favorite band when you were in high school?

That's right! Linkin Park. It doesn't matter if you're not into them anymore, there's really no one else that should be closing an event like BlizzCon (except for maybe Elite Tauren Chieftan, but that's a different story).
4. Cosplay
Blizzard cosplay is the best cosplay. I mean just check these out:

3. More Overwatch

Last BlizzCon, Blizzard made a complete sneak attack when it announce Overwatch, and completely new game. Just this past month, they released the closed beta, and it's been quite a ride. So thirsty for the game, the fans were up in arms when only a few percentile of the community were let in. More waves are sure to come (one already has) and more news too, but there's no sure fire way to play the game except to at the gaming floors Friday and Saturday.

Hopefully there will be some news too? We'll see this weekend..

2. Day[9]'s Return to Starcraft

For a lot of StarCraft fans, the person that got them into the game was Sean “Day[9]” Plott, the lovable muppet that spent nearly every day of his graduate career prepping a multi-hour web show for thousands of people. In recent years, he's moved on from StarCraft, developing his own game, creating content for Hearthstone (another Blizzard game), and featuring on the Geek and Sundry YouTube channel, but this weekend, he'll return to StarCraft as part of the WCS Final's commenting team.

Never heard of him? Check this out:

1. Swag

And as always, theres the swag bags, full of random collectibles that you can only find on eBay otherwise. Aren't going? Well, you can buy a virtual ticket and get the in-game swag. That's something right?
