Bride Plays Master of Puppets on Her Wedding Day
The bride hitting the skins in her 41-year-old wedding gown
Fuck all those stupid viral videos with goofy dancers dancing down the aisle to Chris Brown's "Forever." Here's a wedding video that deserves a million views: an actual bride pounding on the drums to Metallica's "Master of Puppets"--really, really well.
Before anything else, here's a disclaimer: I was the maid of honor at this wedding. Still, there's no denying the fact that Annette Ortiz-Diaz playing the drums to her wedding song (at her Beatles-themed wedding) is insanely cool, not to mention well done (that's her husband Dennis playing guitar and singing in the video).
Ortiz-Diaz, who was the drummer of Fatal Posporos, had a stint with Anaheim ska band Half Past-Two and now plays bass for Random Ninjas. She and her husband had a Metallica tribute band (made up of Asians) called Trapped Under Rice for a while, hence the video.
Watch it after the jump.
Fast forward to about 1:00 in.
