Since their sharp-edged entry into the dance-punk scene in 1996 (yeah it existed somewhat back then), Sacramento's !!! (Chk Chk Chk) have done plenty to live up to their exclamatory moniker--and for the most part, their fans have followed suit. These days, the band haven't lost any steam, though they've picked up a handful of new(er) members.

But judging by their performance last night at the Troubadour, captured by a faithful LA YouTuber, the energy behind the bands landmark album Myth Takes (now more than two years old...come on guys, hit us with another one already) can still inspire a dark hall full of ultra hip scenesters.
But this video of the raucous LA crowd got us thinking: OC fans can get crazier than this...can't we? Of course we can! Tonight, the band comes out to Costa Mesa with LA's Indian Jewelry to test the mettle of the Detroit Bar crowd. Oh yeah, they wanna see you sweat. Take a look at this awesome run through the band's pulsing classic "Heart of Hearts" and get yourselves pumped to outdo the LA crowd, and give Chk Chk Chk a reason to use all those exclamation points.
