The lunch specials are the main draw here, with no dish costing more than $8. Most are $6.25 and include rice and a bowl of hot-and-sour soup. On this list reside all the familiars (kung pao this and that), but also lily root with bean curd sauce and a whole, oar-sized, deep-fried flounder, rendered crisp and golden brown.
