There are donut shops all over this great land. Crullers, cake, plain and jelly-filled: Janny's does it all well and for pittance. The oil they use seems fresher than other lesser fried dough purveyors, and thus results in a cleaner tasting donut. Their greatest contribution to breakfast, however, remains their ham and cheese croissant, a flaky thing of cured pork bliss--just the kind of thing you'll regret eating this early in the morning but so filling you'll probably want to skip lunch.
