Easily one of the top two cleanest and newest venue/clubs in the county, this House of Blues location is right in the middle of Downtown Disney, surrounded by toy stores, restaurants and tourist traps. HOB Anaheim boasts a superb sound system, and a good floor/pit to watch shows from. Upstairs, you'll find seats and bar stools that are sometimes free for the sittin' (for popular shows, you'll have to be VIP, though, sorry). HOB houses the bigger national acts of all genres that come through, from Mos Def and Boyz II Men to Blondie. The attached restaurant is a pretty safe bet, and the lounge hosts free events like Guitar Hero contests every weekday. Yeah, you have to pay for parking and tickets and drinks cost a little higher than they do at the dive bar down the street, but it's a well-kept venue.

The Inside Word on House of Blues

House of Blues always serves it up right! Never a bad place to stand to see the show. Very intimate way to see your fave bands! Also, because it is in Downtown Disney, there's shopping to be had while you wait to go inside.

This is my number 10 favorite venue. It's relatively new but I have seen so many good shows here in such a short amount of time. Bad Boy Bill, Thomas Dolby, BT, Jesus and Mary Chain, Blue October and many more!
