Tan Hoang is a Vietnamese restaurant in Tustin. This used to be Tustin's only banh mi shop, Zon Baguette. But it's now gone and forgotten. Tan Hoang Huong is way better. They busted down a wall, took over the empty space next door and overhauled the place to look like one of those streamlined Little Saigon food-to-go shops. Tustin needs this. The banh mi is much improved. The bread isn't as heavy; the fillings are much more generous and varied. There's a reliable roster of noodle soups, too, served in the same amount of time it takes to assemble a sandwich.
