Red O is a Mexican restaurant in Newport Beach. The Bentleys gleams in Fashion Island's valet lot at this, the second outpost of Rick Bayless' controversial restaurant. The lobby is a room surrounded by tequila bottles, most of it Casamigos, with George Clooney's signature on the bottle. An order for a guacamole sampler will be served on an elaborate curved metal contraption, but it will taste the same as at other places. But you're here because you can afford to eat the food with the true flavors of Mexico that Rick Bayless says Southern California has been missing all along. It's amazing!
