PhoTasia is the new name of this restaurant, which was previously affiliated with the Pho Bac family of restaurants in Irvine and Tustin. No one except those close to the family are privy to what happened that it changed names, but the food remains identical to the others. The BBQ pork is deeply seasoned, sweet and almost in no need of the fish sauce that you're supposed to douse over it and the rice. A bowl of hot soup comes with every rice plate, and the pho is as good as beefy nectar. They even have happy hour specials, which are a remnant of its years as a Pho Bac soldier. But a bargain is a bargain, no matter the source.
