Pho Jazmine is a Vietnamese restaurant in Fountain Valley. While the pho is great and the bún bò Hue better, keep watching for its specialties. Its gargantuan hot pots require a day’s notice and feed at least three. But, seriously, order the specialties, including a com tom càng rim (fat shrimp sautéed in a garlic-chili sauce) and salmon spring rolls with a tamarind sauce. The latter was as spectacular as it sounds, but it’s not available anymore because, as a waiter told me, not enough people ordered it.
