The main reason to visit this place is for the drive, a harrowing trip up Chapman Avenue to the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains. The mining theme gets hokey quickly, but the steaks--large enough to feed a crew of panners-do the job. Much more popular for banquets than the occasional visit.
