You're in the dicey part of Tustin, but going inside this road-side diner feels like you've reached a safe sanctuary. And you'll be surprised how unexpectedly polished the place is. The floor and tables are so shiny and spot-free, you know they must be the darling of the county health department. Nearly every newcomer orders the steak and eggs special, which is advertised by a big banner outside and sold for a Vegas price: less than the cost of most steak meals and certainly better than Denny's Grand Slam. Yes, the steak will be a bit chewy, but the eggs will be respectfully handled and the toast carefully buttered.
