The history of Hong Kong-style cafes in Orange County has been plagued with failure. About a decade ago, just blocks on the same street Koko's Cafe now stands, two Hong Kong-style cafes folded, one after the other. Koko's Cafe is doing it's darndest not to be part of that history. As so far, the only, and thus, the best Hong Kong-style cafe in town and the county, they're doing a great job. The wait staff will be friendlier than you'll liable to find in SGV, where Hong Kong-style cafes are at every other block. Order anything with the prefix "fluffy egg" in front of it and you get just that: a fluffy scrambled egg dish with shrimp or beef, settling over rice like puffy clouds. Dishes with a pork chop in it are also safe bets, as are the drinks, some of which use an especially dose of potent tea.
