Even before she opened Ketri Cafe, Anahita Naderi was a well-known chef in OC. You can't call yourself a true OC foodie unless you've been to one of her Hidden Dinner pop-ups where she cooks beautiful, Persian-inspired cuisine for people on her mailing list. With Ketri Cafe, Naderi appeals to the masses, serving lunch and dinner at the beautiful space left behind by Cafe Chiarini, with its secret garden. Grilled beef pita, warming soups, and breakfasts that feed those who work in the Federal Building are her specialties for now. Someday soon she just might start serving dinners that are as grand as the Hidden ones were. In the meantime, her garden and food is midday refuge from work life drudgery.
