Han Taiwanese is a restaurant is misplaced by a couple of miles. It's an authentic Taiwanese cafe that serves unapologetically Taiwanese food to people who might not otherwise be familiar with stinky tofu or oyster omelets. It offers both dishes in a sleek, minimally-adorned mini-mall restaurant, across the way from Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. They also do also pork chop rice plates that come with a strange but good vegetable and ham stir fry, some corn nibblets and a mound of honeydew melon. Their specialty are bowls of beef noodle soup, served with large hunks of meat either long-stewed or briefly grilled to a medium rare. Eat it with chopsticks then sip the dark, smoky broth with a long wooden ladle.
