Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk - Closed

100 Universal City Plaza
Universal City, CA 91608
Perched on a hill in Universal City between the Valley and Hollywood, the Gibson Amphitheatre is part of the sprawling Universal Studios and Citywalk theme park. At one time, the venue was an outdoor amphitheater called the Universal Amphitheatre, hosting concerts by classic-rock icons like the Kinks, Linda Ronstadt and Neil Young. Later, a roof was put over the theater as part of a major redesign, and eventually the room was renamed Gibson Amphitheatre after its current sponsor, the legendary guitar company.
