Little Saigon and its surrounding area has more than its share of Boiling Crab knockoffs serving the same old same old: crawfish, shrimp and crab steeped in a Cajun spice-tinted sauce. Dang! Crabs can be easily called a knockoff itself, but only if it didn't have its own specialty item that Boiling Crab doesn't offer: oysters grilled on the half shell with butter and garlic. Take them over the raw ones, which aren't anything special, and then, and only then, move on to the usual stuff that you go to Boiling Crab for. Here it won't be doled out in plastic bags. They use platters instead, which isn't to say it's not going to get messy. It will, as it always does.
