This mom-n-pop is new, but it feels like it's been there for ages. It's one of many in this style of restaurant, an Asian take-out that uses its Thai and Chinese catch-all title to throw the broadest net to appeal to us Americans who like their pad Thai as much as their orange chicken. And what do you know? Chef Yen's does both, does it well, and to order no less. Their Thai fried rice is scorching, even if you ask for mild. The wonton soup is chock full of fresh produce, the wontons themselves stuffed fat full of pork. You want chow fun instead of pad see ew? You got it. Heck they even sell bags of deep fried crunchy noodles and the fluorescent sweet and sour sauce to dip it in.
