Based at its Fairfax District location since 1953, the landmark Jewish restaurant has been a classic rock & roll hangout since the 1960s. Matzo ball soup and piled-high-sandwich faves (pastrami, roast beef and corned beef are salty perfection) plus a full bakery make it an enduring pit stop, especially for late-night crowds. The restaurant is open 24 hours, so expect to see it packed with sweaty clubbers after 2 a.m.
