It takes a lot of guts to do business in the very same parking lot that has the unstoppable force of 85 Degrees Bakery and Cafe, but that's just what the folks at Bon Epi do. They know they're the little fish in a small pond with a Great White Shark in it, but they do quite swimmingly, thank you very much. They even offer items like a Kogi-truck burrito with kalbi and Korean spicy pork that 85 Degrees wouldn't dare touch. Bon Epi also distinguishes themselves by selling French macarons, which is not something you'll find at 85 Degrees, no matter how crazy long their line gets. And then, there's this: Bon Epi's baguettes are excellent.
