Samuel Beckett’s timeless masterpiece, WAITING FOR GODOT, is the story (or non-story) of two tramps cast adrift in a barren landscape of indeterminate location. Each day, Didi and Gogo await the arrival of the mysterious Godot; a man they hope will give them some kind of an answer as to what to do next, or where to go next, or what to think, feel, or believe next! In the meantime, the two eschew the monotony and boredom of “waiting” by occupying themselves with feisty debate, delightful word-play, and deft physical comedy. At once harrowing and hilarious, riveting and riotous, WAITING FOR GODOT is ultimately a play about Hope - deferred, but never extinguished!
