The festivities will kick off with an al fresco reception featuring the signature Vaca Tonic, passed Spanish hors d'oeuvres and a small silent auction of luxe offerings. Guests will then be seated for an extraordinary seven-course dinner with wine pairings underwritten by Bodegas Torres. The menu includes Vaca charcuterie & cheese board with Parés Baltà, Brut Cava, Penedes, Spain; strawberry & heirloom tomato gazpacho with Rosado, Carinena Blend, De Casta, Miguel Torres, Catalunya, Spain 2014; slow baked cod in paella broth with verdejo, Miguel Torres Verdeo, Rueda, Spain 2014; tapas assortment: lamb albondigas, albacore tataki, canelon de pollo & panza de cerdo with Celeste Crianza, Miguel Torres, Ribera Del Duero, Spain 2013; lobster paella and New York & Prime skirt steak tasting with Salmos, Priorat, Spain 2013; and postres: Mama Santana flan, tocino de cielo & Vermouth flavored tres leches.
Seats are $350 and $300 for members of the James Beard Foundation, all-inclusive.
