Rush Bar is a one-off event being thrown by Southern California Rush fans for Rush fans.

“We’re taking over a bar in Long Beach for a night to play five records. Each representing different aspects from four decades of Rush!" The albums will be played in full - sides A and B – beginning at 9:15 sharp with “RUSH” – the 1974 debut release!"

Hosted by DJ Dave Skott, (lifelong Rush fan, disc jockey, and nightclub promoter), and made possible by friends at The Que Sera, this event is quite possibly the first of its kind!

“Now that Rush isn’t going to perform live anymore, or record anymore for that matter, and after coming to grips with this fact, we realized it’s now up to the fans themselves / ourselves to create events for Rush fans to gather. Granted this event we’re putting on is about a hundred & twenty times smaller than a concert, (lets say 100 people compared to 12,000 or so), but a fun gathering of Rush fans nonetheless! We're really blessed by the folks at the Que Sera for allowing us to do this."
