For the 34th year, the Rehabilitation Institute of Southern California (RIO) is hosting RIO Golf Classic, the nonprofit organization's largest annual fundraiser. The tournament style is four person scramble, and contests include longest drive, closest to the pin, and winning teams. Each player receives range balls, green fees, a cart, lunch, and dinner. The event also consists of a golf ball drop and silent and live auctions.
Founded in 1950, the Rehabilitation Institute of Southern California (RIO) is an Orange County non-profit that provides health, wellness, and educational services to children and adults with special needs. Some of these services include Child Development, Physical Therapy, Adult and Senior Day Programs, Independent Living Skills, Swimming Lessons and Aquatic Exercise classes.
All funds raised will directly benefit RIO and the programs, which serve over 1,500 clients.
