One of the most culturally invigorating artistic movements in history was the Harlem Renaissance, which uplifted the works of African American poets, painters, musicians and singers in the late 1920s and '30s. One of these prominent musicians was Thomas “Fats” Waller, who was a successful jazz singer, pianist and composer of many popular jazz songs of the era. Join the spirited singers performing many of Waller's popular hits, including the iconic “Ain't Misbehavin',” “Honeysuckle Rose,” “Black and Blue” and others, in an energetic and lively musical revue. This Tony-winning smash is a wonderful tribute to the wondrous glory days of the Cotton Club and the Savoy, and the influential personalities that kept its flame a-burnin'.
