The St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans aren’t over just yet—Celtic rockers the Young Dubliners bring their raucous, whiskey-soaked live show to the Galaxy this weekend. The continual tourists, for whom 200-plus shows per year is pretty standard, may not all be from Ireland (just bassist Brendan Holmes and original founding member Keith Roberts are from Dublin, and hey! Guitarist Bob Boulding is from Long Beach!), but you wouldn’t know it. Wild Irish rock, ballads and chanteys around raspy, pub-style vocals? Good enough for us. Don’t miss the Young Dubliners’ only Orange County performance before they set off for a tour of Ireland at the end of the month. But watch out for the jig pits—them Irish like to fight.
