World Cup Weekend: Party on the Plaza

The World Cup games finally conclude this weekend—and to commemorate this global occasion, the Segerstrom Center joins in on the international celebration with an open-air Party on the Plaza. The game is screened across a pair of 9’-by-12’ LED jumbotrons, plus four 55” LCD HD television screens (that beats the local bar setup, doesn't it?), stationed throughout the Center's expansive Arts Plaza. Food trucks are on hand to feed you, while a beer garden is available to get you buzzed. Kids can play on a soccer field station—adults, please don't partake directly after hitting the beer garden. Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets, and a clear voice for cheering. Come join fellow soccer fans and root for your second-favorite country to win (hey, at least we did better than France).

Sat., July 12, 1 p.m.; Sun., July 13, noon, 2014
