Willie Nelson

The job options for most folks well into their 70s are usually limited to “Wal-Mart greeter” or “music legend.” Willie Nelson is in the latter category (though no one could deny that his welcoming visage would make any trip to buy paper towels a little sweeter). At 77 this month, the man just won’t stop touring, with dozens of dates booked this year throughout the U.S. and Europe. He won’t stop recording, either, this week putting out the simply titled Country Music , with the Grove of Anaheim his first stop on the tour promoting the record. The album contains one original and a bunch of traditional bluegrass and folk music, plus it was produced by T. Bone Burnett, riding high on the post-Crazy Heart train.
