The Gaslamp in Long Beach steps up from its regular nights of no-charge cover bands and karaoke nights for a paid-admission only concert from LB hip-hop legend Warren G. One of the original '90s rap trailblazers, Warren G contributed to some of the most influential songs and albums of the genre, working alongside friends Snoop and the late Nate Dogg (after Nate's death in 2011, Warren released “This Is Dedicated To You.” All proceeds from the song go to the deceased rapper's mother). Warren G still continues to work on his solo career—and now the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling artist and original Regulator plays a home town show to remind everyone how an OG does it.
