Love him or hate him, Andy Warhol completely re-defined the meaning of the word “art” and paved the way for legions of imitators and innovators who would never have been given a chance had he not come first. The Rohrer Fine Art Gallery is hosting the show “Fifteen Minutes of Fame,” which contains some of Warhol's '60s output, along with photographs by iconic '60s photographer Lawrence Schiller, who captured such luminaries as Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Joe DiMaggio, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, Paul Newman and Barbara Streisand. Though not quite as well-known as Warhol's work, Schiller's vision of the '60s is just as necessary to understanding American culture.
