VNV Nation

The melodramatic energy of electronic duo VNV Nation is the epitome of dark dance music. And at this point, the group’s 20-year career pretty much speaks for itself. But for those just discovering the brooding, poetic pulse of songs like “Beloved” and “Chrome,” or the break-through album Empires, allow members Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson to give you a full rundown of their eclectic electro/industrial catalog when they stop by the Glass House this week. Last month, VNV fans got a taste of some great new music with the release of their remix album, Crossing the Divide (Archanon) and the promise of a new album and loads of goth-centric jams lurking on the horizon. It’s probably gonna get pretty hot and stuffy on the main floor—so do yourself a favor and leave the black trench coat in the car for this one.
