The Rolling Stones: Some Girls, Live in Texas ’78
Who says there aren’t any second chances in life? In case you missed last year’s release of the previously unseen Rolling Stones concert film, The Rolling Stones: Some Girls, Live in Texas ’78, the Art Theatre in Long Beach presents an opportunity for you to correct the error of your ways. Originally shot on 16 mm film, the video was restored and the sound remastered, resulting in actual visual evidence to support the decades old argument that the Stones are the best live band ever to rock our planet. Filmed at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth on July 18, 1978, the concert footage features the band at its best—just the boys, their music, and the screams of hundreds over a wailing guitar. They don't say everything is bigger in Texas for nothing.
